At your first visit, you'll meet the doctors and staff, as well as tour the office. Dr. Goodloe, Dr. Salter or Dr. Pickett will perform a thorough oral examination. This includes an analysis of the skeletal type, the occlusion or bite, the alignment of the teeth, the health of their supporting structures and the function of the temporomandibular (jaw) joints. Usually, we will take a panorex x-ray. We will give you a preliminary diagnosis, indicating whether treatment is necessary and when that treatment should begin. Also, we will estimate both the fee for our services and the length of treatment required. At this time, we can discuss financial arrangements and your insurance benefits, and address any unanswered questions or concerns you may have.
